AI-generated images for a socks brand from the Netherlands
A well-known socks brand from the Netherlands commissioned Mimetry to create advertising visuals and product images for its online store. The goal was to showcase their specialized socks for tired legs, both in clean white-background product images and in lifestyle scenes featuring people that represented their target audience: active women who spend many hours on their feet.
The main challenge was that the brand did not yet have physical prototypes, only graphic designs and measurements, which made traditional photography impossible. In addition, the product needed to be shown on real people, with a clearly Dutch aesthetic and backgrounds aligned with the brand’s corporate colors, which also ruled out the use of 3D rendering. For this reason, we opted for a solution entirely based on AI-generated images.

We started the project with an initial batch of more than 200 images, following the briefing while offering a wide variety of styles, framings and scenarios. Based on the client’s first selection, we developed a second, more focused and visually consistent series, from which the final images for each theme were chosen.









After the selection process, we applied our advanced image enhancement and upscaling workflow, combining AI upscaling techniques with professional photo retouching to achieve a realistic photographic quality at 8K resolution. At this stage, we also integrated the original graphic designs of the socks into the images, ensuring accurate colors and textures.


For the photograph of the brand’s founder, we worked with professional photo retouching. We carried out upscaling, cleaning and detail enhancement, and digitally added the brand identity to the packaging through advanced retouching.
For the product images, special attention was paid to the shape, posture and proportions of the legs, aiming for a natural and uniform presentation. Once the master base image was selected, it was adapted to the different sock models, always maintaining consistent lighting and color across the entire collection.
The final result was a set of high-quality AI-generated images with a fully realistic appearance, ready for digital marketing campaigns and e-commerce use, allowing the brand to launch its catalog even before the products were physically manufactured.
