3D rendering of cava bottles for design validation
A well-known cava brand contacted Mimetry during the redesign phase of its product range. The graphic design and final bottle shape were already defined, but no physical prototypes had yet been manufactured. They needed high-quality 3D renders that would allow them to visualize and validate the designs before production, avoiding potential errors and additional modification costs.
Based on the available information — technical drawings, label designs and, in some cases, physical reference bottles — we carried out the complete 3D modeling of all components: bottles, stoppers, capsules and labels, using high-resolution meshes to accurately reproduce every detail.
To achieve a result that was visually faithful to reality, we worked directly with the original Adobe Illustrator files, paper samples and color and finishing specifications provided by the client. We recreated all printing materials and textures in 3D with full accuracy: gold stamping, embossing, selective varnishes and papers with different gloss levels and weights. The goal was to represent the exact appearance the bottles would have once manufactured.

After several tests of materials, lighting and color, we fine-tuned chromatic consistency and light behavior on each surface to achieve a photographic and realistic finish. Finally, we carried out a professional 3D rendering session with controlled lighting, ensuring a consistent visual aesthetic across all images, both individual shots and group compositions.

The result was a collection of hyper-realistic product renders, ready for internal presentation, final design validation and use in catalogs or commercial presentations.
Thanks to the 3D workflow, the client was able to accurately visualize how each bottle would look before production, reducing time and costs while ensuring a visually flawless launch.
